Twenty-four seven - 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Do online stores really operate 24/7? Truth is... very few shops actually do. Don't be surprised if a number of web stores put up signs that read, "Store hours: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m." or "No deliveries on weekends."
Although it's true that a blog shop or a web store does not "close" like mall stalls, it cannot - in a real sense and with very few exceptions - be always "there" to respond to your needs pronto. Here's why:
First, the people behind the business are still people. Real human beings sleep. One stark exception would be giant companies that can afford to tap the services of customer service representatives in handling calls and inquiries all day and all night.
Second, unless the web store has an in-house delivery team, majority of the established couriers observe standard office hours. Merchants just cannot ship items at any hour of the day. Whether they like it or not, they will have to follow the rules and the schedule of the shipping companies too.

So true. It's easy to fall into the trap of believing that online stores are open all the time.
